Thermal Imaging

What is it?

Thermal Imaging is a process in which we utilize a state of the art Infrared thermal imaging camera to find anomalies in your home.

Why?

An anomoly in a home can be as simple as an area of low insulation or even a water leak behind drywall that has gone unnoticed for a long time. These anomalies show up as temperature variations on our camera and allow us to look a little closer at the area in question. The picture to the right is an unlined chimney in a home. The brighter colors show where the heat is leaking into the cavity around the chimney and causing the drywall to be warm to the touch.

How does this help?

By identifying potential trouble areas we can give the home buyer/seller a better picture of what needs to be done to make the home everything they hoped it would be.
